Slæ̈rn Égahijo-kulk (/menv/ /kulk/ [live] [canopy; umbrella]) is a temperate Large City located in the Vēkæ̈piijuwitlu Principality of the Shayeli.
The name Slæ̈rn Égahijo-kulk is derived from the Sylvin language, as Slæ̈rn Égahijo-kulk was founded by Gèbê, who was culturaly Gnoll.
Climate
Slæ̈rn Égahijo-kulk has a yearly average temperature of 4°C (39°F), with its average temperature during the summer being an icy 25°C (77°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cold -16°C (4°F). Slæ̈rn Égahijo-kulk receives an average of 209 cm/y (82 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of snow during the long winter months. Overview
Slæ̈rn Égahijo-kulk was founded durring the late 15th century in summer of the year 1363, by Gèbê. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Gèbê.
Slæ̈rn Égahijo-kulk was built using the conventions of Gnoll durring the late 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Slæ̈rn Égahijo-kulk is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.
Slæ̈rn Égahijo-kulk is buildings are grouped arround an odd layout of crampt packed earth streets, which seems to be based on an overlapping squair patern such that there are small squares at the cornor of every bigger square. Sometimes buildings exist in the smaller squaires, other times they are open spaces, or occupied by temporary structures. The city is in posession of a finaly crafted dwarvern style fortified fighting wall, completer with lower, middle, and upper battlments for use in sloped-fire defence stratagies, murder holes, and statues which may or may not be constructs, and, of course, MERTICULATIONSshortsizename is one of the wealthiest and politicaly connected settlments in the world.. Slæ̈rn Égahijo-kulk's Ragnarock-era relics are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the city as needed.
Slæ̈rn Égahijo-kulk has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Slæ̈rn Égahijo-kulk’s streets. The city is very clearly a joyfull place as well as relaxing. Music can be heard often, as well as laughter. The smell of food and drink permiates the air. You can’t help but smile.

Slæ̈rn Égahijo-kulk has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Slæ̈rn Égahijo-kulk's natural decorations nor waterways.
Slæ̈rn Égahijo-kulk has a Guild of Roadworkers, who are responsible for maintaining the roadways and public paths within town. They also have the duty of enforcing all civil laws relating to the roadways.

Cultural Notes
Slæ̈rn Égahijo-kulk's locals are divided into several castes. They may be organized by social role, by imputed nobility of birth, by ethnic origins, or any other dividing principle, but they cannot imagine any other way of organizing themselves. A hierarchy of castes is not inevitable, but there will be social and legal limits applied to ensure that each caste remains fixed in its function. The outside world may or may not respect these distinctions when dealing with the locals.
Slæ̈rn Égahijo-kulk's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is inspired by the natural world, characterized by sinuous, sculptural, organic shapes, arches, curving lines, and sensual ornamentation. Common motifs included stylized versions of leaves, flowers, vines, insects, animals, and other natural elements. Decorative elements found on the inside and outside of buildings include intricate mosaic work, curved windows, and decorative trim work. .
